The felt puzzle quiet book page was fun to make. I don’t like to use pins when I sew, but they made a big difference with this project. I assembled most of the dog away from the background. Remember to plan ahead, velcro goes on the background piece first or else all the stitches from the velcro will end up showing on your picture. It was helpful to place the dog on the background to figure out where I was going to cut and where I needed the velcro, but I didn’t sew the dog on until after the velcro was sewn.
My masterpiece-it was hard to spend the time creating this only to cut it up!
All chopped up. I sewed parallel lines to outline the pieces and cut in between the lines. It was very helpful in keeping things in place.
A storage pocket. It doesn’t get used often, but it is helpful for when it’s time to pack up and the puzzle is unfinished.
